Terms of Use & User Agreement
Last updated: October 2026 • BOYE (boye.pk)
“BOYE (boye.pk) is only a platform that lets students find and contact each other. All contact, meetings, deals, payments, rentals, tuition arrangements and shared rides are made directly between users at their own risk.”
BOYE (boye.pk), its owners and team are not a party to any arrangement and are not responsible for any loss, fraud, dispute, injury or misconduct. Users, items, hostels, teachers and drivers are not verified. Listings are reviewed by an admin before publishing and can be removed at any time.
1. Direct Peer-to-Peer Transactions
BOYE (boye.pk) does not act as an escrow agent, broker, landlord, employer, or transportation provider. We do not process payments, hold funds, or arbitrate disputes between buyers, sellers, tenants, hostel managers, tutors, or carpool drivers.
All price negotiations, physical handovers, and communications occur off-platform directly between students (typically via WhatsApp or phone).
2. Inspect Before You Pay & No Advance Deposits
You agree to always inspect items, study notes, calculators, books, or hostel premises in person prior to transferring any money.
- Never send advance deposits, bank transfers, or mobile wallet payments (EasyPaisa/JazzCash) to unknown persons.
- Turn on electronic items, check for missing pages in course books, and verify hostel accommodations before signing or paying.
- BOYE never asks for payments or transaction fees.
3. Listing Moderation & Content Policy
All marketplace listings submitted to the platform are subject to admin review prior to appearing in public search results. We reserve the absolute right to:
- Reject or edit any listing that violates academic integrity, student safety, or community decency.
- Immediately remove reported or fraudulent listings.
- Suspend or terminate accounts violating campus policies or local laws.
4. Safe Meetup Protocols
Users must adhere to safe meetup practices: meet during daylight hours in well-lit public campus locations (university gates, campus cafeterias, central markets), and inform a trusted friend or family member before meeting a seller or boarding a shared ride.
